Origami Bag Workshop [morning]

In this relaxed, hands-on session, you’ll make your own geometric origami-style fabric bag, complete with a complimentary lining and sturdy handle. The finished bag is a similar size to a tote and perfectly practical — ideal for everyday essentials like a purse, phone, water bottle and make-up bag.
This workshop is hosted by Amy, designer and maker behind Kaleidoscope, a local brand known for bold patterns, thoughtful design and beautifully made bags, accessories and jewellery.

Whether you’re learning to thread a machine for the first time or looking to build confidence and technique, you’ll be guided step by step in a friendly, supportive environment.
What You’ll Learn:
• How to thread a sewing machine and wind a bobbin
• How to cut out an origami bag pattern accurately
• Sewing and top-stitching using a computerised sewing machine
• Folding fabric using an origami technique and sewing it into place
• Making and attaching a sturdy handle
