Introduction to Watercolour
Date: 2nd September - 7th October
Time: 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM [every Tuesday]
This 6 week course will help both the beginner and artists with some experience of painting learn how to edit down a scene. Many artists state that they want to be more loose and free in their painting approach.
This journey starts with learning to recognise what the viewer needs to see and what they do not need to see when making a picture. When you understand, even a little about this process, a whole new world opens up in painting where you are more free to play and interpret which can make painting a great deal more fun to do.
Nothing will be too taxing and everyone will make mistakes….this is intended to be a playful and entertaining class.
The class is led by Jason Skill, who spent years gaining the experience needed to effectively edit down images. Having that experience at your fingertips, helping you see how to tune and distil you paintings might save you many hours of work in the long run taking you work more quickly to the next level.
