Trousers are a practical garment, designed to be hard-wearing, comfortable, and long-lasting [when well made!]\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eAcross the course, you’ll use your own fabric and construct a simple pair of trousers working step by step at a steady pace, keeping the process clear and achievable.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eThe course is led by \u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003e\u003cb\u003eSarah Johnston\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e, a seamstress with over 50 years’ experience. Teaching is calm, practical, and supportive, with clear demonstrations and individual guidance throughout.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eThis course is suitable for those who are already confident using a sewing machine and have an understanding or using a dress pattern \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eParticipants should bring their own sewing machine where possible, a basic sewing kit, one of the recommended patterns, and sufficient fabric for the shirt.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eYou can choose your own trouser pattern - but it must \u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003einclude a zip fly and a waistband. you will also need cheap plain fabric to make a toile.
